Nokia C6-01 Launched In India. The smartphone should be available 18.229 INR, which is about $ 400 or € 294 is. Not a high price, that’s for sure – at least not in comparison to how much Nokia E7 cost in India (where he’ll be releasedNokia released a smart phone C6 earlier this year, but this version, only by the 01 suffix, is actually quite different. It’s smaller and lighter, mainly due to their failure of the original slide-out QWERTY keyboard, but it also has a better camera, more memory, and the latest Symbian operating system 3. The 8-megapixel camera is reduced by the Carl Zeiss lens that has become familiar to the higher-end Nokia’s snapper, but it’s not a bad effort all the same.
Picture quality is generally quite good, with decent color balance and reasonable sharpness. Measuring 104 x 53 x 14mm thick and 131 g is a handful – not particularly long or wide but deep and on the heavy side. Otherwise it is a standard-looking Nokia smartphone with a 3.2-inch touch screen surrounded by a metal frame with a curved aluminum back. Below the screen are touch-sensitive buttons and start conversation on either side of a big stop, plus home / menu button. On the sides are a screen lock switch, volume buttons and camera shutter, synchronized with a USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack and Nokia charging plug on the bottom.
On the back is a great speaker, 8-megapixel camera lens and dual LED flash. The 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen looks, frankly, brilliant, especially when watching video and does a good job to show themselves, even in bright light. E-mail accounts are easy to set up, although the onscreen keyboard is a bit tight for comfort, even QWERTY in landscape mode. There is a nod to social networking convergence with an app that Facebook and Twitter lumps together – but unlike HTC’s FriendFeed stream or Sony Ericsson Timescape, it will not display all of your updates as a flowing river. Additional apps are available from Nokia’s Ovi Store, which slowly but steadily growing, but it’s still far behind the rivals Apple and Android.
